Kunchai Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a global enterprise with over 20 years of dedicated expertise in the research, development, production, and sales of pearlescent pigments. The company boasts an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of pearlescent pigments and 20,000 tons of synthetic mica, maintaining a substantial presence in the global market. Additionally, it has an annual output of 1.5 million tons of titanium dioxide and 1.5 million tons of iron oxides, which were officially commissioned in March 2021 and began global sales in October 2022. Kunchai occupies a total site area of 2,000 mu (1.334 million square meters), with a built-up area exceeding 1 million square meters, and a total investment of approximately RMB 8 billion. We are committed to seamlessly integrating nature and technology, serving major industries worldwide and establishing ourselves as a leading strategic supplier across diverse sectors, setting a benchmark for industry collaboration.

Development History

1999

Zhejiang Kunwei Pearlescent Pigment Co., Ltd. has been established.

2001

Wenzhou Kuncai Pearlescent Pigment Co., Ltd. was established.

2005

Establishment of Fujian Kuncai Pearlescent Pigment Co., Ltd.

2009

Fujian Kunchai Phase I has been completed and put into operation.

2015

It has successively established Kuncai Europe, Kuncai USA, and Kuncai India.

2016

Fujian Kunchai Phase II has been completed and put into operation.

2017

Kuncai Technology has successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

2018

Fushi New Materials’ 200,000-ton titanium dioxide project has been completed.

2019

Kuncai’s Phase I project, with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 200,000 tons of iron oxide, has commenced construction, while its subsidiary, Fujian Ziniu Plastics Industry, has put into production 6,000 tons of high-concentration single-color masterbatch.

2020

Zhengtai Internet Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Fuzhou.

2022

The first phase of the Kunchai Zhengtai plant, with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 200,000 tons of iron oxide, has been put into operation.

2023

Construction has commenced on Phase II of the Kunchai Zhengtai plant, which will produce 600,000 tons per year of titanium dioxide and 600,000 tons per year of iron oxide.

2024

Zhengtai New Materials has reached full production capacity for its 200,000-ton titanium dioxide and iron oxide products manufactured via the extraction process. The nuclear‑powered steam supply project has been finalized, and preparations are underway to establish Kuncai Vanadium‑Titanium.
