They also explored opportunities for deeper cooperation in product development, technological advancement, market expansion, and other areas going forward.

The two parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on key issues, including the development trends of the automotive coatings industry, technological innovation, automotive color trends, and joint technology development and resource integration. They also explored opportunities for deeper collaboration in areas such as product development, technological advancement, and market expansion.

Mr. Wang Bing, Director and Executive Deputy General Manager of Xiangjiang Guanxi, welcomed the delegation led by Mr. Xie Bingkun, Chairman of Kunchai Technology, and shared recent developments at Xiangjiang Guanxi. He also introduced the newly established HKP Research Institute, which focuses on industry trends and customer needs, pursuing targeted new‑product development while prioritizing the R&D of forward‑looking technologies and products.

Mr. Xie Bingkun, Chairman of Kuncan Technology, provided a detailed overview of the company’s recent development, industrial strategic layout, competitive landscape, R&D strategy, cutting-edge technologies, product application centers, and the Kuncan Digital Color Platform. He also discussed and outlined plans for the strengths and collaborative prospects of Kuncan Technology’s titanium dioxide and iron oxide products.

The two parties have reached a consensus on a “strategic development” for technological innovation, committing to pool their strengths and collaborate closely across such areas as resource integration, technological cooperation, innovative applications, and color development.

Xiangjiang Guanxi presents an overview of its collaboration with Fujian Kunchai, along with a detailed account of the partnership’s development and year-over-year growth.

Kuncai Technology presented the development inspiration, color narratives, and resulting color palette of the “Boundless Journey” 2025 automotive trend color collection, jointly designed by both parties.

The two parties have signed a “Joint Color Development Cooperation Agreement,” adhering to the principles of reciprocity, mutual benefit, stability, durability, efficiency, and high quality. On this basis, they have reached consensus to jointly advance collaborative color development, comprehensively pursue cooperation and technological innovation, and collectively contribute to the future growth of the automotive coatings industry.

The joint application laboratory of Xiangjiang Guanxi and Kuncai Technology was officially inaugurated at the Xiangjiang Research Institute, marking a new stage in the two parties’ collaboration on scientific and technological innovation.
