Panzhihua City and Fuqing City Hold an Exchange Symposium, Ushering in a New Chapter of Pan-Fu Cooperation

On the afternoon of February 18, an exchange symposium between Panzhihua City and Fuqing City was held in Panzhihua. Zhang Zhenghong, Secretary of the Panzhihua Municipal Party Committee; Ye Renyou, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Fuqing Municipal Party Committee; Mr. Xie Bingkun, Chairman of Kunchai Technology; and other members of the delegation attended the meeting and delivered remarks.
Zhang Zhenghong, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, extended a warm welcome to Ye Renyou, Secretary of the Fuqing Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation, who had traveled from afar. Zhang Zhenghong stated that Panzhihua boasts uniquely advantageous endowments in mineral resources and clean energy. Although separated by thousands of miles, Panzhihua and Fuqing enjoy close economic ties and strong industrial complementarity, offering vast potential for cooperation.
Ye Renyou expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Panzhihua City and provided a brief overview of Fuzhou City’s basic conditions. He noted that Panzhihua is a city with exceptionally strong resource advantages, and that Fuzhou’s development strategy and industrial layout are highly aligned with those of Panzhihua. He outlined specific intentions for cooperation with Panzhihua, emphasizing the importance of fostering synergistic industrial development and optimizing resource allocation.
At the meeting, Xie Bingkun, Chairman of Kunchai Technology, provided a detailed report on the company’s development and the Zhengtai project. Following the presentation, the governments of both cities expressed strong approval and high praise, encouraging Kunchai Technology to leverage its position as the world’s first to deploy this cutting-edge process and technology, fully capitalize on its technological and quality leadership, and strive to become an industry leader. They also urged the company to spearhead low‑carbon, high‑quality, and sustainable development in the sector. Furthermore, the relevant authorities were directed to provide full support for Kunchai Technology’s strategic growth, vigorously coordinate cooperation on the Panzhihua titanium concentrate project, and harness the complementary resource endowments of the two regions to maximize their respective strengths and achieve win‑win outcomes through collaboration.
