On the afternoon of February 7, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government convened a symposium with private-sector entrepreneurs in Fuzhou, extending New Year greetings to private business leaders across the province and jointly discussing effective strategies for development. At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Yin Li emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the development of the private sector, uphold the “two unwavering commitments,” carry forward and promote the “Jinjiang Experience,” create a more favorable environment for the private economy, and guide private enterprises to further unleash their vitality in innovation, entrepreneurship, and creation, thereby making greater contributions to building a new Fujian in the new stage of development. Governor Zhao Long presided over the meeting.
Outside, a gentle spring rain fell steadily, while inside the venue, a warm and welcoming atmosphere prevailed. During the symposium, Mr. Xie Bingkun, Chairman of Kunchai Technology, spoke as one of the province’s ten leading private entrepreneurs. Drawing on his company’s development experience, he put forward suggestions and recommendations on bolstering and upgrading the digital economy, the marine economy, the green economy, and the cultural‑tourism economy, as well as on advancing technological innovation, industrial transformation, talent recruitment, and the business environment. Governor Yin Li listened attentively to the remarks and engaged in lively exchanges with the participants.
Yin Li stated that Fujian’s private-sector entrepreneurs are bold, tenacious, and adept at seizing opportunities. He urged them to sustain their spirit of pioneering, determination, and drive, thereby propelling the province’s private economy to a new stage of development in the new era. It is essential to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, increase investment in R&D, attract top talent, and focus on mastering critical core technologies to achieve self-reliance and self-strengthening. Private enterprises must remain committed to the real economy, deepen innovation-driven development and industrial upgrading, accelerate digital transformation and green, low-carbon growth, and work to revitalize the real economy, creating more Fujian‑branded products and brands with global influence. Furthermore, they should deepen opening-up and cooperation, proactively participate in building the core area of the Maritime Silk Road, actively tap both domestic and international markets and resources, and ensure that more high‑end factors converge in Fujian while enabling more Fujian‑made products and services to reach the world.
Provincial leaders Guo Ningning, Wu Xielin, Wang Yongli, Liang Jianyong, Kang Tao, and Wang Guangyuan attended the event.
