Members of the Mica Initiative

In October 2016, a mica stakeholders’ conference was held in the Netherlands, attended by members of the National Resource Management Group. To eradicate child labor, they proposed establishing an entirely new mica supply chain. Participants unanimously agreed that only through collaboration could success be achieved—this was the original intention behind the formation of the Mica Initiative. The initiative’s inaugural meeting took place on January 31 in Paris, where a series of organizational matters were discussed. Kuncai Technology actively participated and became a member of the organization. On November 14 this year, the organization officially launched in Delhi, India, unveiling an ambitious plan with the following key objectives:


- Implement fair, responsible, and sustainable codes of conduct, and enhance traceability in India’s mica supply chain.


- By implementing an inclusive and comprehensive holistic empowerment program, foster lasting positive change within local communities.


- By working closely with the Indian government, we create a lawful and livable environment for local communities.
