On May 18, the Sixth 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo and the 25th Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Fair opened with great fanfare in Fuzhou. This year’s “May 18” events are centered around the themes of “Expanding Maritime Silk Road Cooperation and Sharing Development Opportunities” and “Deepening Cross-Strait Integration and Building Our Common Home.”
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. As a beneficiary of the nation’s high‑level opening‑up policy, Kunchai Technology has, over the past decade, come to deeply appreciate the vital importance of mutually beneficial cooperation and win‑win development. The company has actively participated in global economic and trade exchanges, sharing cutting‑edge industry technologies and products, and has gradually cultivated a new corporate identity—evolving from “exporting products” to “going global with its brand.” In recognition of these achievements, it has been awarded such prestigious honors as “National Torch Key High‑Tech Enterprise,” “Provincial Enterprise Technology Center,” “Fujian Provincial Government Quality Award Nomination,” the ECOVADIS Global Corporate Social Responsibility Silver Award, the national-level “Little Giant” enterprise for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative capabilities, and the Fujian Province “Industry Leading Team” title.
At this year’s May 18 event, Kunchai Technology was invited to showcase the dynamism of cutting-edge science and technology enterprises at the China–Indonesia Economic and Trade Innovation Demonstration Park, engage in dialogue with global industry leaders, and share its state-of-the-art technological achievements. The company also promoted a vision of low energy consumption, reduced emissions, high cleanliness, and sustainable, healthy, and civilized development across the entire industrial chain. At Kunchai Technology’s exhibition booth, not only did it present its pearlescent pigment products—market leaders worldwide—but also drew significant attention to the world’s first titanium dioxide production line employing an extraction-based chlorination process. This groundbreaking technology has already received certification for its pioneering process and has been granted eight international patents and more than 30 domestic patents, filling a critical gap in global titanium dioxide manufacturing. Beyond resolving China’s bottleneck in high-end chlorinated titanium dioxide, it has also positioned the company as a key player on the international stage, earning high regard from national ministries such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Looking ahead, Kunchai Technology will continue to strengthen collaborative innovation across the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain, striving for even greater breakthroughs in the titanium dioxide sector. By proactively seizing opportunities in economic and trade‑driven innovation and cooperation, the company will remain committed to guiding the global titanium dioxide industry toward high‑quality, sustainable development, ensuring that “Made in China” premium chlorinated titanium dioxide reaches markets around the world.
