On October 8, Comrade Lin Baojin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, visited Fuqing to deliver a briefing on the spirit of the city’s 12th Party Congress and to conduct an inspection of major industrial project construction. He also toured the Zhengtai New Materials Industrial Park, emphasizing the need to thoroughly study and implement the important remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Fujian, and to follow the deployment and requirements set forth at the city’s Party Congress. He called for leveraging the standardized development of industrial (sectoral) parks as a key driver, focusing on attracting and supporting leading enterprises, strengthening industrial chains, and promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing sector, with the aim of taking the lead in building a modern industrial system.

It is imperative to implement the spirit of the Municipal Party Congress, launch the “120-Day Assault” special campaign in depth, focus on attracting and supporting leading enterprises, fostering major industrial clusters, and developing pillar industries, thereby accelerating the establishment of a modern industrial system.

It is essential to meticulously map out industrial chains, fully implement the “chain‑leader system,” leverage the leading role of flagship enterprises, and strategically extend, supplement, and strengthen these chains, while taking the lead in cultivating a cohort of enterprises each with revenues exceeding 100 billion yuan.

It is necessary to accelerate the standardization of industrial parks, innovate management systems and mechanisms, and enhance supporting functional services, thereby transforming these parks into platforms for the agglomeration and development of manufacturing, high-tech industries, and modern service sectors.
